Oleksandr Kapitanenko, President & CEO

With two decades of solid experience in software design, Mr. Kapitanenko is the driving force behind PortaOne's technical innovations and vision. As one of the company's original founders, and today head of its headquarters in Vancouver, BC, he has played a crucial role in identifying new market opportunities and building the company through pioneering technology and a global outlook.

Mr. Kapitanenko is a graduate of Kiev Polytechnical University where he majored in automatic information processing and control systems and received a master's degree in systems engineering.

Andriy Zhylenko, Chief Technical Officer

Mr. Zhylenko brings over 15 years of managerial and operational experience in software development to the company. In 2000, he was the world's 7th-ranked Perl programmer, according to that year's Brainbench certification results. Andriy's vast technical know-how from his past telecom experience and spirit of innovation have helped the company find new markets and increase its customer base.

He received a master's degree in applied mathematics from Kiev Polytechnical University.

Roman Khalenkov, Sales and Marketing Director

Mr. Khalenkov has over a 15 years of experience in management consulting, sales organization management, product development, and marketing strategy development. He gained this experience while working for large telecommunication companies, on utility restructuring projects, and with the world top consulting companies: PricewaterhouseCoopers,
McKinsey & Co., Booz Alen & Hamilton.

He holds a MSc. degree in Business and Economics from the University (PFUR) in Moscow and Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI.

Boris Dorin, Strategy and Business Development Director

Mr. Dorin has over a decade of professional experience in strategic management. He served large energy enterprises, regulatory authorities, and international financial institutions advising them on business strategies and market entries in information technology, power, utilities and other sectors. Prior to PortaOne, Boris led Branan, a leading Russo-British consultancy for power and utilities.

He has a MSc. degree in mathematics and system analysis from Moscow State University and MA in Economics from New Economic School.
