PortaSwitch Procinctus Architecture

PortaSwitch Procinctus includes three main components that are specifically tuned up to provide the highest level of performance and reliability:
- PortaBilling100 in the special configuration, optimized for the distributed processing:
- PortaBilling100 master server to provide the real-time rating and balance modifications
- A separate server, synchronized with the master, to perform such resource intensive calculations as on-the-fly route calculation or call authorization
- Another server (with its own database and an online replication from the master) to process network registration requests. On a network with 100,000 active subscribers and re-registration interval of 15 minutes billing must process more than 100 registration attempts per second – so this load will be entirely removed from the master server.
- Standby server, which may take over the role of the master in case if it is down (e.g. due to the hardware failure).
- Web server to provide the service provisioning interface to your administrators as well as a self-care services for your customers.
- PortaSIP cluster includes multiple PortaSIP nodes, which can be operated simultaneously and in case of a service outage on one of the nodes SIP phones may automatically switch to the other available PortaSIP server.
- PortaUM to provide your customers with voicemail, auto-attendant and fax-to-email services.
