Global communications software company PortaOne, Inc. and Mida Solutions, a software vendor focusing on Unified Collaboration and Professional Communication, today announced successful completion of interoperability testing between Mida Solutions' Mida Operator Console and PortaOne's PortaSwitch telecommunications platform. The availability of the Mida Operator Console with PortaSwitch means ITSPs as well as enterprises of all sizes can quickly implement a fully web-based (HTML5) attendant console into their PortaSwitch-driven IPPBX systems.

Mida Operator Console is a fully-featured application that provides simple and efficient management of telephone calls, integration with enterprise phone directories, memos and presence integration. In addition to managing all incoming and outgoing calls for the enterprise, Mida Operator Console offers features that include call presence monitoring via BLF (Busy Lamp Field), call transfer, call park and call log, among others. Uniquely, the console has also been developed for visually impaired operators and is fully compatible with braille keyboards and screen reader software.

Consisting of a real-time billing system, class 4 and 5 SIP softswitch and application servers, PortaSwitch supports provisioning, SIP call control, unified messaging, IP Centrex, callback management, IVRs, conferencing and more.
