Q: We were planning to use a Cisco’s PGW2200 implementation. What would be your recommendation on this? Is Porta’s software solution tested with Cisco’s PGW2200?

A: Please visit the PGW2200 page http://www.cisco.com/…/a3bf7.html. PortaSwitch will not directly communicate with PGW2200. RADIUS server included in PortaSwitch will gather information from the voice gateways exactly in the way it does it now. And PortaSIP proxy will serve a VoIP traffic between different elements of your network. So PGW2200 is just another element of your VoIP network.
